Nederlands: Anatomische les van Dr. Johan Fonteijn (fragment)Op deze Anatomische les waren oorspronkelijk, behalve dr. Johan Fonteijn (1674-1632), tien chirurgijns en enkele college-meesters afgebeeld. Fonteijn was praelector vanaf de dood van Sebastiaen Egbertsz in 1621. Tevens was hij lijfarts van prins Maurits. Het schilderij is in de brand van 1723 ernstig beschadigd, maar mogelijk was het daarvoor al verkleind. Bij de restauratie die volgde, is het schilderij flink bijgesneden en overschilderd. Van de voorstelling bleef alleen de bovenkant van het middengedeelte bewaard, met daarop zes portretten. Het hoofd linksboven is afkomstig van een andere plaats in het schilderij. Ook de schedel, waarover de praelector lijkt te spreken, is misschien een latere toevoeging.
