Summary edit

Description
English: Arriva Guildford & West Surrey 5925 (M925 PKN), a Volvo Olympian/Northern Counties Palatine, in Guildford Friary bus station, Guildford, Surrey, on route 100. In September 2009 it was announced that Metrobus would be buying the operations of Arriva Guildford & West Surrey's Horsham depot. Metrobus took over on 3 October 2009. While 19 single deckers transferred to Metrobus, 5925, the sole double decker at Horsham depot, stayed in Arriva ownership. Seen in this photograph earlier in the year working out of Horsham depot, after the sale 5925 briefly moved to Guildford depot, before settling at Cranleigh outstation for a newly won school contract. This photograph was taken on the first day of Metrobus operations over in Horsham, and so presumably this was 5925's first day in service at Guildford depot. While route 100 is a park and ride service on Monday to Friday, unlike park and ride routes 200 and 300, the 100 does not have its own dedicated site, instead running from the Spectrum Leisure Centre car park. As demand for the leisure centre car park is highest on Saturdays, Saturday only park and ride route 101 runs from Ladymead instead. Therefore on Saturdays, the 100 is just a service to and from the Spectrum, and uses normal liveried Arriva buses, although the park and ride Volvos do sometimes appear, and many people use it as a park and ride service on Saturdays anyway. Guildford park and ride does not run on Sundays.
