  • Significance: Built for the Southern Power Company in 1916, the bridge is one of the largest multi-span truss bridges. It consists of a 240' and a 252' Petit truss, a 200' Camelback, and two 96' Pratt Through trusses. The Camelback is the longest in North Carolina.
