  • Significance: Operator house (building 105) was one of four operator houses built in Cascada (later Big Creek) adjacent to Powerhouse No. 1 in 1912-1913. These were the first permanent operator houses in the Big Creek system. Their significance derives from association with the Big Creek Hydroelectric System. The Big Creek System is significant as a classic example of hydroelectric engineering and technology, for its association with John S. Eastwood, Henry E. Huntington, and George C. Ward, and its contribution to development of the Los Angeles metropolitan Area.
