English: Barrow (for Tarvin) Station (remains). View westward, towards Chester; Chester - Manchester main line (former Cheshire Lines Committee). This station, being nowhere near Tarvin, was closed early (1/6/53), but the substantial building had survived another 8 years and perhaps ripe for conversion to a private house, but evidently in 2009 it was still a – standing – wreck. |
