| Description |
English: Barry signal box
Located at the northeast end of Barry station. Opened in 1897, the box was owned by Barry Railway company which in 1923 was absorbed into the GWR (Great Western Railway). In 1948 the GWR became part of the nationalised British Railways. The railway network in the Barry area was originally controlled by a number of signal boxes. Today, this one is the sole survivor. |
