Description

Alcuni anni fa ho ritrovato del tutto casualmente in una soffitta tra le vecchie carte del capitano Adelmo Lolli di Bastia Umbra (Perugia), fratello di mio nonno materno, una serie di bellissime cartoline da lui raccolte e alcune fotografie da lui scattate durante la Prima Guerra mondiale. Mio prozio, il capitano Adelmo Lolli era uno studente di ingegneria ed apparteneva all’11° Reggimento Fanteria – Brigata CASALE – 6^ Compagnia - 12^ Divisione. Era nato a Bastia Umbra (Perugia) il 29 maggio 1895 ed è morto a Bastia Umbra (Perugia) a 24 anni il 9 novembre 1919 proprio a seguito di una grave malattia contratta in guerra. Appassionato di foto, documentò in particolar modo due luoghi: l'altopiano di Asiago e la zona di Gorizia nel corso della sua presa. Il suo nome compare nell'albo d'oro dei caduti dell'Umbria.
