Summary edit

Description
English: A modern IND-style "BRIARWOOD" nameplate below a original IND mosaic on the Jamaica-bound (eastbound) platform of the Briarwood (Briarwood–Van Wyck) subway station in Briarwood, Queens. The station was originally named "Van Wyck Boulevard" prior to the construction of the Van Wyck Expressway, but was later renamed "Briarwood–Van Wyck" and finally "Briarwood". This name plate may or may not be covering up an original IND sign.
