Ergänzung: Das Foto zeigt die Häuser Parochialstraße 27-32 (von rechts), zwischen Klosterstraße und Jüdenstraße. Die Häuserzeile wurde 1936 für den Neubau des Geschäftshauses der Feuersozietät (heute: Neues Stadthaus) abgerissen. Im Haus Nr. 29 sieht man den ersten Standort des Internationalen Anti-Kriegs-Museums, das der Pazifist Ernst Friedrich 1925 gegründet hatte. Von den Nationalsozialisten 1933 zerstört und von Friedrich 1936 im belgischen Exil für nur kurze Zeit wieder eröffnet, wurde es 1982 in Berlin wiedergegründet. Sein heutiger Sitz ist die Brüsseler Straße 21 in Berlin-Wedding. Das Haus Parochialstraße 29 wurde ab 1933 als "Sturmlokal" von der SA benutzt und diente als "Folterkeller" für politische Gegner.
