For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Dessau, Hauptbahnhof Illus Biscan 31.3.51 Dessauer Hauptbahnhof wieder aufgebaut. Der am 7.März 1945 durch anglo-amerikanische Bomben zerstörte Dessauer Hauptbahnhof ist als das modernste Bahnhofsgebäude Sachsen-Anhalts neu entstanden und kürzlich in Betrieb genommen worden. Seit der Zerstörung waren alle Diensträume, Wartesäle etc. in Baracken untergebracht gewesen.
