For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Kemberg, Schärfen einer Mähmaschine Znetralbild-Illus Fifo-Gr-Qu. 27.8.1951 Mähen von Wiesen erheblich verbessert. Bei der MAS Kemberg bei Wittenberg sind es infolge der ausgedehnten Elbwiesen gerade die Mäharbeiten, die besonders viel Zeit beanspruchen. Der Leiter der MAS Kemberg, Koll. Waldsmade, setzte sich mit seinen Traktoristen zusammen, und es gelang, mit einer besonderen Kupplungsart die Mähmaschinenen bis zu 4 Stück hintereinander zu kuppel und fabelhafte Ergebnisse zu erzielen. So erreicht der Traktorist Lisowaki von der Brigade Köhler eine Tagesbesteleistung von 70 Morgen. UBz: Auch das Schleifen der Messer wird mit einem kleinen Schleifbock gleich auf dem Felde durchgeführt, wodurch wertvolle Zeit erspart wird.
