Segelschulschiff "Wilhelm Pieck", Signalgast

- Zentralbild-Sturm 27.12.1951

German to English translation by Google Translate 23.02.2011 Sail training ship "Wilhelm Pieck ", signalers

Sail training ship "Wilhelm Pieck" The future masters, mates and mates of our merchant fleet will be formed on the handsome two-masted schooner, "Wilhelm Pieck" in a 10-week course. The students who come from all parts of the GDR and members of the Society for Water of the Free German Youth will learn under the guidance of an experienced captain Weitendorf, the four officers and a 10-member Stammannschaft with great enthusiasm to operate the sailing ship. They know that the day of a unified Germany is not far and look forward to sail with our trading ships to the seas. What they learned, they are then able to prove really. Shown here: The signal service requires a quick mind. It's not as easy as it looks. - Central Image Forward 27/12/1951
