For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Pietsch 23.1.1952 Landarbeiter besuchen die Stadt Rostock. Damit die Stadt- und Landbevölkerung einander näherkommt und die Landarbeiter Konzerte hören, Theatervorstellungen sehen und Kunstausstellungen besuchen können, hat der FDGB-Feriendienst den Landarbeitern einen kostenlosen Urlaub in den Städten der DDR ermöglicht. Im Winterhalbjahr 1951-52 werden insgesamt 450 Landarbeiter an einem 10-tägigen Aufenthalt in den Städten Erfurt, Halle, Dresden, Leipzig, Berlin und Rostock teilnehmen. Vom 7.-15. Januar weilten in Rostock 20 Landarbeiter aus den verschiedensten Gegenden der DDR. UBz.: Die Gäste besuchten das Bad Heiligendamm.
