Im Schwermaschinenbau, "Ernst Thälmann" haben Mitglieder der Gesellschaft für deutsch-sowjetische Freundschaft ein Technisches Kabinett eingerichtet, das von den Aktivisten und Neuerern des Betriebes gern aufgesucht wird. Sie tauschen ihre Erfahrungen aus, sprechen Verbesserungsvorschläge und sowjetische Arbeitsmethoden durch, lesen technische Literatur und arbeiten ihre Ideen am Zeichentisch aus. UBz: Das Technische Kabinett vefügt über einen Zeichentisch, den jeder für seine Vorschläge benutzen kann.
