For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Biscan Leu-Mlk 8.7.1952 Beginn der Ernte 1952 in Sachsen-Anhalt. Mit neuen Maschinen an die Ernte. Im Bereich der MAS Großottersleben ist die Ernte in vollem Gange. Zum Wochenende waren bereits alle Erntemaschinen eingesetzt, u.a. der hier abgebildete Mähbinder des volkseigenen LBH-Werkes Petkus. Traktorist Walter Müller und Traktoristenlehrling Kurt Kleemann, die gerade Wintergerste auf dem Felde des Bauern Hermann Freitag mähen, sind stolz darauf, daß ihnen diese neue Maschine anvertraut wurde. Der neue Mähbinder ermöglicht ihnen, alle Aufträge vorfristig und zur Zufriedneheit der Bauern auszuführen und ihre Norm überzuerfüllen. |
