Zentralbild TBD-2.9.52 Die erste neu erbaute Synagoge. Das erste in der DDR neu erbaute jüdische Gotteshaus wurde am 31.8.1952 in einem Festakt in Erfurt eingeweiht. Die Synagoge wurde an derselben Stelle errichtet, wo in der Kristallnacht des 9. November 1938 faschistische Banden die alte Synagoge zerstörten. Die Regierung der DDR stellte für den Wiederaufbau des jüdischen Gotteshauses 290.000 DM zur Verfügung. UBz: Der Eingang der neuen Synagoge. |
