For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Gielow Str-Sta. 27.10.1952 Ausschmückung zu Ehren des Staatsbesuches aus der Volksrepublik Ungarn Matyas Rakosi, Vorsitzender des Ministerrates und einige Regierungsmitglieder der Volksrepublik Ungarn trafen am 27.10.1952 in Berlin ein. Aus diesem Grunde waren die Strassen der Stadt festlich geschmückt. UBz: Fahnengruppe in der Friedrichstrasse.
