Grube "Einheit" fördert wieder!

Diese Grube war eine der modernsten im Zeitz-Weißenfelser Kohlenrevier und wurde nach Kriegsende vollständig demontiert. Dadurch wurde, zu einem kleinen Teil wenigstens, die Zerstörung der Bergwerke im Donezbecken durch die Hitlerarmee vergolten. Die Weißenfelser Kumpels begonnen noch während der Demontage mit der Braunkohleförderung. Aus alten Maschinenteilen, die z.T. von anderen Gruben herangeholt wurden, bauten die Bergarbeiter 3 Löffelbagger, womit die Abraumbewegung auf eine Monatsleistung von 204 706 cbm gesteigert werden kann. Nach Fertigstellung der z.Zt. in Montage befindlichen 3 Großgeräte wird die Tagesleistung ab 1.4.49 rund 24 000 cbm betragen. Ein Beispiel von vielen, wie durch enorme Arbeitsleistung und Arbeiter-Initiative die Versorgung der Bevölkerung mit Hausbrand und Strom ermöglicht wurde.

This mine was one of the most modern in the Zeitz-Weissenfels mining area and was completely dismantled after the war.
