For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Parey, Einsatz einer Kartoffellegemaschine Zentralbild Biscan 19.5.1953 Kartoffellegemaschine ersetzt 20 Arbeitskräfte Die neuerrichtete MTS Parey, Kreis Genthin, verfügt über eine Kartoffellegemaschine aus der Neuproduktion, mit deren Hilfe im Verlauf einiger Tage alle Anbauverträge erfüllt werden konnten. Die Maschine leistet im Durchschnitt so viel wie 20 bis 25 Arbeitskräfte. In einer achtstündigen Schicht können sieben bis acht Hektar bearbeitet werden. UBz: Die neue Kartoffellegemaschine der MTS Parey, Kreis Genthin, ein Erzeugnis der LDK-Werke in Brislow, Brandenburg. Auf dem Traktor: Bestarbeiter Adam Zopf; auf der Kartoffellegemaschine: Genossenschaftsbauer Horst Wankow von der Landwirtschaftlichen Produktionsgenossenschaft "Fortschritt" in Parey Schichtfahrer bei der MTS.
