ADN-ZB Senft 26.1.83 Berlin: Tierdarstellungen sowie die Gestaltung des menschlichen Körpers sind die Hauptthemen, die das Schaffen des Bildhauers Heinrich Drake charakterisieren. Am 15.2.1903 wurde der Künstler in Ratsiek (heute BRD) geboren. Nach der Lehre als Holzbildhauer arbeitete er ab 1932 freischaffend in Berlin. 1949 übernahm er die Leitung der Abteilung Plastik an der Hochschule für Bildende und Angewandte Kunst in Berlin-Weißensee, wo er auch als Professor wirkte.
