For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Berlin, Marienkirche, Fernsehturm
ADN-ZB Link 20.7.83 Berlin: Stadtzentrum-Berlin glich 1945 einer Trümmerwüste. Nur wenige hostorischeGabäude blieben erhalten. Teilweise wurden sie restauriert bzw. wiederaufgebaut. Sie ist es für die Gegenwart typisch, daß Neues und Altes hier sehr stark miteinander verwoben sind. In unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft stehen die Marienikirche und das Rote Rathaus mit dem Palasthotel und den Rathauspassagen. "Beherrscht" wird das Ganze vom Fernsehturm. -siehe auch 1983-0720-13,15 und 16N- |
