For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB Senft 25.8.83 Berlin: Rahnsdorfer Fähre- Paul Rahn übernahm vor vier Jahren die Rahnsdorfer Fähre, die Ende des vergangenen Jahrhunderts gegründet wurde. Heute lassen sich täglich 100 bis 120 Gäste, meist Urlauber, Ausflügler oder Laubenbesitzer, für einen "Groschen" über die nur 30 Meter breite Müggelspree rudern. In der Gründerzeit der Fähre wurde eine Stange zum Vorwärtsbewegen des Kahns benutzt, die heute mit Skulls ausgetauscht wurde. (siehe 24 N) - siehe ADN-Meldung
