For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Tabarz, Dorflinde, Winter
ADN-ZB Ludwig-22.2.86 Bez. Erfurt: Winter- Auch ohen Blätter, von Schnee bedeckt, sieht die alte Dorfline in der Rainhardsbrunner Straße von Tabarz interessant aus. Das Naturdenkmal ist rund 180 Jahre als. Es ist eine der wenigen in Thüringen noch erhaltenen "Tanzlinden", auf denen früher die Musikanten Platz nahmen und zum Dorftanz aufspielten. Der untere Astkranz wurde speziell zu diesem Zweck durch Schnitt beeinflußt, daß man Bretter zum Sitzen über die Äste legen konnte. Im Raum Tabarz gibt es rund 30 Naturdenkmale, viele davon sind Bäume. |
