For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Schwerin, Mueß, Freilichtmuseum ADN-ZB Pätzold-16.5.1986 Schwerin: Freilichtmuseum-Das Freilichtmuseum Schwerin-Mueß ist wieder Ziel zahlreicher Touristen und Gäste der mecklenburgischen Bezirksstadt. Vor 16 Jahren war der Museumshof mit einem Bauernhaus und einer Scheune des 18. und 19. Jahrhunderts eröffnet worden. Zum drei Hektar umfassenden Ensemble gehören jetzt auch eine Dorfschmiede, ein Hirtenkaten, eine Dorfschule, ein Backofen und Kunstkaten sowie eine Büdnerei aus dem frühen 20. Jahrhundert. 1985 besichtigten mehr als 60000 Interessenten die Sehenswürdigkeit vor den Toren der Bezirksstadt. Am 18.5., dem internationalen Museumstag, erwartet die Besucher ein niederdeutsches Programm.
