For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. "Für Bezieher des ADN-Reportagedienstes! Zum Beitrag: Viel Spaß in alten Gaswerk-Gebäuden - Attraktives programm des Kulturhauses im Ernst-Thälmann-Park ADN-ZB-Settnik-13.2.1987-bb Drei fast hundertjährige Verwaltungs- bzw. Fabrikgebäude des ehemaligen Gaswerks an der Dimitroffstraße in Berlin, auf dessen Gelände in den vergangenen Jahren ein schönes Wohngebiet für rund 4.000 Bürger entstand, wurden erhalten und für ihre neue Funktion als Kultur- und Freizeitstätten hergerichtet. Ein Neubau, die "Wabe", kam hinzu. Unser Bild zeigt das Klubhaus und im Hintergrund den Flachhbau der "Wabe". Das Klubhaus, das zum Kulturhaus im Ernst-Thälmann-Park gehört, beherbergt im Erdgeschoß einen Ausstellungsraum, in der ersten Etage den Jugendklub und darüber das "Theater unterm Dach"! (Hierzu gehören die Fotos 1987-0213-300N-305N!)" |
