For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Breitenworbis, Beregnung ADN-ZB Ludwig-31.7.87 Bez.Erfurt: Forstbaumschule Breitenworbis. Der Beregnung kommt eine große Bedeutung bei der Aufzucht junger Bäume zu. Ziel der 26 Beschäftigten in der größten Forstbaumschule des Bezirks Erfurt ist es, die gesamte Fläche beregenbar zu machen. Die Forstfacharbeiter widmen sich verstärkt der Anzucht widerstandsfähiger Baumarten. Jährlich verlassen rund vier Millionen Pflanzen die Baumschule und gehen an Reviere in den Bezirken Erfurt und Magdeburg. Außerdem werden junge Bäumchen für andere Flächen, z.B. für die Realisierung von Flurgestaltungskonzeptinen geliefert. (siehe 16N)
