Die Grüße der Partei der Arbeiterklasse an die Delegierten des CDU-Parteitages überbrachte im Auftrage des ZK der SED und besonders seines Generalsekretärs, des Vorsitzenden des Staatsrates der DDR, Erich Honecker, der Leiter der Delegation des ZK, Joachim Herrmann (vorn l.), Mitglied des Politbüros und Sekretär des ZK. Er überreichte die Grußadresse des ZK der SED Gerald Götting, Vorsitzender der CDU.
