For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Ribnitz-Damgarten, Möbelfabrik, Qualitätskontrolle ADB-ZB-Sindermann 14.7.88 Be. Rostock: Jugend- Fehlerfrei Möbelbauteile will Jugendbrigadier Siegfried Stachowski (r.) mit seinem Kollektiv an den modernen CNC-Maschinenkomplexen im Stammbetrieb des Möbelkombinates Ribnitz-Damgarten produzieren. Gemeinsam mit Maschinenfahrerin Jana Baron prüft er die Qualität der Platten, denn sie entscheidet über die Qualität des Finalproduktes. Vor einigen Tagen konnten die Ribnitzer für ihre Bauteile das Gütezeichen "Q" erhalten. Das Faserplattenwerk Ribnitz-Damgarten ist damit der erste Betrieb der DDR, der Möbelbauteile mit einem Q-Vermerk ausliefert. - siehe auch 1988-0614-4N -
