For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB Sindermann-1.2.89-zei-Bez. Rostock: Kreisarzt - Rund 3.000 Werktätige werden durch die Zwischenbetriebliche Organisation im Landkreis Greifswald betreut. 13 Landwirtschaftsbetriebe haben sich in ihr zusammengeschlossen. Wesentlichen Anteil am Aufbau des Betriebsgesundheitswesens im Territorium hat Dr. Siegfried Metzner (CDU). Seit 1974 ist er Kreisarzt. Die Sanitätsstelle wurde von ihm mit aufgebaut. Noch heute schaut er hier regelmäßig mal rein. Die Leiterin, Dipl.-Med. Ingrid Behrndt (M.)., nutzt gern die Möglichkeit für eine Konsultation. Aber auch Dr. Metzner erhält hier so manche Anregung für den weiteren Aufbau des Gesundheitswesens in seinem Kreis. Fast die Hälfte der 80 Gesundheitseinrichtungen entstanden seit Anfang der siebziger Jahre, also faktisch während der "Amtszeit" von Dr. Metzner. -siehe auch 1989-0201-7N-"
