For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Greifswald, neues Universitätsklinikum, Operationssaal ADN-ZB Sindermann 20.2.89 Bez. Rostock: Wahlvorbereitung- Für die Durchführung ambulanter Operationen stehen am neuen Klinikum des Bereiches Medizin der Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universität Greifswald mehrere OP-Säle zur Verfügung. Alle medizinischen Einrichtungen werden auch zur Ausbildung genutzt. So assistiert Petra Wichel (2.v.l.), Medizinstudentin des 6. Studienjahres Dr. Rudolf Becker während einer Operation mit Hilfe eines Röntgenbildwandlers. Die Fachschülerinnen Martina und Ines haben hier ebenfalls ein Praktikum zu absolvieren. Für 1989 ist der Bau eines speziellen OP-Traktes sowie eines Bettenhauses geplant. 1989 werden aus dem Staathaushalt 1 125 Millionen Mark für Investitionen für den Neubau und die Rekonstruktion von Krankenhäusern, Polikliniken, Ambulatorien und anderen Einrichtungen des Gesundheitswesens bereit gestellt.
