For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Halle, Universitätsklinik, Herzdiagnose ADN-ZB Lehmann 30.6.89 Halle: Herzdiagnose- Verbesserte Möglichkeiten der Herzdiagnostik bietet ein neuer Herzkatheter-Kardangiographie-Arbeitsplatz im Klinikum Kröllwitz der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle. Während ein kontrastmittelgefüllter Katheder bis zum Herzinneren des Patienten geschoben wird, verfolgen Dr. Eckhard Meyer und Schwester Gabriele Busch den Eingriff am Monitor. Gleichzeitig entstehen Röntgen- und Filmaufzeichnungen. - siehe auch 1989-0530-2 N. Auf Grundlage der exakten Untersuchungsergebnisse kann dann entschieden werden, ob eine Operation nötig ist oder die Erkrankung medikamentös behandelt wird. Das Klinikum ist eines von sechs Zentren der DDR zur spezialisierten Betreuung von Herz-Kreislauf-Patienten.
