ADN-ZB Gahlbeck 19.12.89 Bez. Leipzig: Tagebau- In eine ökologische Wüste hat der Braunkohlebergbau weite Landschaftsteile rund um Leipzig verwandelt. Um der wachsenden Energiebedarf des Landes zu entsprechen, müssen immer größere Mengen Kohle unter immer schwierigeren geologischen Bedingungen gefördert werden. Die Rekultivierungskapazitäten nehmen sich im Vergleich dazu minimal aus. Da die Einstellung des Braunkohleabbaus in der DDR jedoch nicht zur Debatte steht, kann nur die Forderung nach rationellem Umgang mit Energie eine Linderung der Probleme bringen. -Siehe auch 1989-1219-1N. |
