For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zurow, Blick in einen Laufstall ADN-ZB Sindermann 12.2.90-pst Bez.Rostock:Schlachtvieh-Überhang-"Schwein" hatten bisher diese Mastschweine der LPG (T) Zurow, Landkreis Wismar.Seit Dezember 1989 warten sie in überfüllten Boxen auf den Fleischer, da die Schlachtkapazitäten fehlen. Die Zurower LPG muß für den Schweine-Überhang täglich rund 2, 5 Tonnen Futter aufwenden, die schon längst vertraglich gebunden waren. Im Januar verendeten hier 30 Mastschweine durch Streß in den überfüllten Anlagen. siehe auch 1990-0212-4N."
