For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Cottbus, Straßenszene ADN-Weisflog 13.10.1990- Cottbus: Hoffen auf bessere Zeiten-Ungewißheit und Sorge spricht aus den Gesichtern dieser Cotbuser Frauen. Zur Zeit durchaus verständlich. Denn zu verwirrend ist all das Neue,das auf sie einstürzt, und zu viele Fragezeichen gibt es noch inbezug auf Rente, Miete, Strom usw. Aber immerhin sollen die Renten ab 1. Januar 1991 in den neuen fünf Bundesländern erhöht werden. So hofft man auf weitere gute Nachrichten.
