For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Erfurt, Möbelausstellung, Wohnzimmer Zentralbild Wittig 15.8.1953 Möbelwanderausstellung in Erfurt. Vom 9.8.1953 bis zum 26.8.1953 werden im Erfurter Stadtgarten in einer Ausstellung, vom Ministerium für Leichtindustrie ins Leben gerufen, die von der DHZ-Zentralstelle für Möbel, Berlin, durchgeführt wird, Wohnmöbel ausgestellt, deren Produktion nach der Bauteilung der werktätigen Bevölkerung serienmässig beginnen solle.
