For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Aschersleben, Aussaat Zentralbild Schmiljun-30.10.1953 Genossenschaftsbauern wurden Millionäre. Etwas über ein Jahr ist es her, seit sich zunächst 5 Neubauern zur landwirtschaftlichen Produktionsgenossenschaft "Florian Geyer" in Aschersleben zusammenschlossen, um 52 Hektar zu bewirtschaften. Heute zählt die Genossenschaft bereits 220 Mitglieder; der Boden ist auf 940 ha angewachsen. Ende April 1953 ging die Genossenschaft zum Typ III über und besitzt jetzt 312 Rinder, 844 Schweine, 154 Mutterschafe, 750 Hennen, 71 Arbeitspferde. Schon heute stellt die LPG "Florian Geyer" ein Millionenunternehmen dar. Die Genossenschaft verdankt ihre grossen Erfolge hauptsächlich ihrem Leitungskollektiv, das in diesem Jahre mit dem Nationalpreis ausgezeichnet wurde. UBz: Die fortschrittliche Agarartechnik hilft den Genossenschaftsbauern bei der Bestellung ihrer Großflöchen. Mit diesem modernen Kettenschlepper "KS-62", an den drei Drillmaschinen mit einer Arbeitsbreite von ingsgesamt zehn Metern gekoppelt sind, war bis zum 20. Oktober auf 152 Hektar die Saat eingedrillt.
