For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild Wlocka 2.3.1954 V. Wintersport-Meisterschaften der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik vom 25. - 28.2.1954 in Oberhof Diesen Wintersportmeisterschaften kommt durch die Teilnahme von Sportlern aus Frankreich, der Volksrepublik Polen, der Ungarischen Volksrepublik und Westdeutschland besondere Bedeutung zu. Der Höhepunkt der V. Wintersportmeisterschaften war der Spezialsprunglauf mit internationaler Besetzung auf der Thüringenschanze am 28.2.1954. Unter den zahlreichen Ehrengästen befand sich auch der Präsident der Volkskammer der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik Dr. h.c. Johannes Dieckmann. |
