For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Höhne-Pohl-29.5.1954-Wjt-Ku.-4 Motive- Dresdener Zwinger im Aufbau (Fortsetzung). Erweiterung des Mathematisch-physikalischen Salons - siehe beiliegenden Text. Nicht mehr dicht aufeinander gedrängt, sondern nach neuen musealen Gesichtspunkten geordnet, können die Kunstgegenstände in den neuen erweiterten Räumen jetzt ungehindert betrachtet werden. Zeitgerecht, vor Beginn der Urlaubssaison 1954, wurden weitere Räume im Dresdener Zwinger wieder eröffnet. Nach dem Wiederaufbau des ehemaligen Grottensaales konnte die Schaufläche des Mathematisch-physikalischen Salons erweitert werden. Der Ursprung des Mathematisch-physikalischen Salons geht auf die im Jahre 1560 gegründete Dresdener Kunstkammer zurück. 1730 wurde der Salon als selbständige Sammlung in den Dresdener Zwinger überführt, wo er im Jahre 1955 sein 225-jähriges Bestehen feiern kann. UBz.: Nach neuen musealen Gesichtspunkten geordnet, können die Kunstgegenstände des Salons jetzt ungehindert betrachtet werden. Durchblick aus dem neuen Saal auf das Kronentor. Im Vordergrund eine vergoldete Blobusuhr von J. Reinhold und G.Roll, Meistern aus Augsburg (1586) und ein Metallthermometer, vergoldet mit Skaleneinteilung nach Delille, aus dem Jahre 1746. |
