For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Klaus Filter Zentralbild Funck 18.7.1955 DDR-Rudermeisterschaften 1955 in Grünau Am 17. Juli 1955 fand auf dem Olympiakurs in Berlin-Grünau die DDR-Meisterschaft 1955 unserer Ruderinnen und Ruderer statt. In fast allen Kämpfen gab es packende Positionskämpfe. UBz: Im Leichtgewichts-Einer erkämpfte sich Klaus Filter (SC Dynamo) den Titel.
