For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Volksgut Groß-Vielen, Melkerbrigade im Gespräch Zentralbild Löwe Mo-Qu-25.9.1955 Landbevölkerung dankt mit Verpflichtungen-Lebhafte Zustimmung zum Abschluß des Staatsvertrages. Melkermeister Gerhard Nahe vom Volksgut Groß-Vielen, Kr. Waan, diskutiert mit den Kollegen seiner Brigade über den Statsvertrag mit der UdSSR und sagte u. a.: "Der erneute Vertrauensbeweis der Sowjetunion verpflichtet uns Werktätige auf dem Lande zu noch höheren Leistungen. Zusätzlich zu meiner Verpflichtung, 10 dz Rindfleisch über den Plan zu liefern, will ich noch 10 dz überplanmäßig abgeben."
