For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Dresden, Johanneum, Verkehrsmuseum Zentralbild Höhne-Pohl 22.5.1956 1785 A.V. Zur 750-Jahrfeier der Stadt Dresden Neues Verkehrsmuseum entsteht. Zur 750-Jahrfeier der Stadt Dresden wird im Zentrum von Dresden im Johanneum ein neues Verkehrsmuseum mit einer Ausstellung " Steifzug durch die sächsische Verkehrsgeschichte" eröffnet. Dazu kam dieser Tage die Drittälteste noch in Deutschland erhaltene Lokomotive " Muldental", die im RAW Einheit Leipzig überholt wurde, nach Dresden. Die Lokomotive wurde im Jahre 1861 in dem damaligen Chemnitz erbaut und war 91 Jahre in Betrieb. UBz: Die Lokomotive vor dem künftigen Verkehrsmuseum in Dresden.
