For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Wendorf Bey-Schw. 24.6.1956 Vorwärts gewann klar mit 4:1 - Am Sonnabend, dem 23.6.1956, standen sich in einem Punktspiel der Fußball-Oberliga die Mannschaften von Vorwärts Berlin und Turbine Erfurt im Jahn-Stadion gegenüber. Die Berliner zeigten sich endlich schussfreudiger und kamen zu einem glatten 4:1-Sieg. Vor dem Treffen sammelten alle Spieler und das Schiedsrichter-Kollektiv unter den Zuschauern für das II. Deutsche Turn- und Sportfest. UBz.: Mit einem Sprung wirft sich Erfurts Torwart Jahn in die Ecke und faustet den Ball zur Ecke.
