For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Ursula Donath Zentralbild Wlocka 22.7.1956 VII. DDR-Leichtathletik-Meisterschaften in Erfurt In der Zeit vom 20. bis zum 22. Juli 1956 werden in Erfurt die VII. Leichtathletik-Meisterschaften der DDR ausgetragen. UBz: Zu einem überlegenen Sieg kam im 800-m-Lauf der Damen Ursula Donath (Chemie Halle-Leuna) im Vor- und Endlauf. Die neue Meisterin Donath strebt mit großem Vorsprung dem Ziel entgegen.
