For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Planung der Produktionsgebiete Zentralbild Schlegel 10.11.1956 - Durch richtige Standortverteilung zu höheren Erträgen - Die Standortverteilung der landwirtschaftlichen Produktion als Voraussetzung einer axakten Perspektivplanung und für höhere Erträge haben die Bezirke Karl-Marx-Stadt und Dresden als erste in der DDR abgeschlossen. Danach teilt sich der Bezirk Karl-Marx-Stadt in drei Hauptproduktionsgebiete auf, die sich wiederum in 32 Produktionsgebiete gliedern. Die Mitarbeiter des agronomischen und zootechnischen Beratungsdienstes in den Kreisen und MTS-Bereichen legen auf dieser Grundlage die künftige Entwicklung der Feld- und Viehwirtschaft im einzelnen fest. UBz: (vlnr): Oberagronom Wagner von der MTS Neuendorf; Oberagronom Schwarzbach von der MTS Großschirma und Bezirksagronom Metnel haben eine Karte des Bezirks Karl-Marx-Stadt ausgearbeitet, auf der die 32 Produktionsgebiete eingezeichnet sind. Diese Karte soll in den Wintermonaten auf Bauernversammlungen zur Diskusssion gestellt werden.
