For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Schorba, Bauern im Außengehege Zentralbild -Blumenthal Weiß-Qu 29.5.1957 Die LPG "Glückauf" in Schorba (TypIII) ist Millionär Zu den Millionären in der Republik gehört auch die LPG "Glückauf" in Schorba-Krs.Jena-Land, die am 1.April 1957 auf eine vier jährige erfolgreiche Entwicklung zurückblicken konnte. Bis auf drei gehören alle Bauern der Gemeinde der LPG an, deren Besitz einen Wert von über einer Million DM darstellt. Die Gesamteinnahmen der LPG betrugen im vergangenen Jahr 327.000DM. Von den 1955 geleisteten Arbeitseinheiten entfielen auf jedes Mitglied durchschnittlich 347. Dabei ist es kein Wunder, das auch der Verdienst eines jeden einzelnen einen gewaltigen Aufschwung nahm. Allein fünf der 63 Genossenschaftsbauern besitzen einen eigenen PKW. Andere legten sich ein Fernsehgerät zu oder kauften sich moderne Möbel u.ä. UBz:166 Rinder, durchscnittlich 400-500 Schweine, 290 Schafe, 650-700 Hühner, 5 Arbeitspferde und 4 Fohlen sind der stolze Viehbestand der LPG. -Blick auf einen Teil der Box des Kälberaufzuchtstalles, der 25 Kälber beherbergt. Der Zootechniker Hans Kläwe und der Betreuer der Kälberaufzuchtstation, der Genossenschaftsbauer Kurt Lemser beim Fachsimpeln."
