For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Wohnzimmer, VEB Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau Zentralbild Krueger Auslandsversand 28.8.1957 1.9.1957 Leipziger Herbstmesse 1957. UBz: Prof. Selmanacig entwickelte neue Komplettierungsmöbel. Dabei werden für die Gestelle der Sitzmöbel gepreßte Furnierabfälle verwendet, die mit Schaumgumme belegt werden. Für Schranktüren werden zum Teil Kunststoff-Folien-Überzüge benutzt. Hier ein Wohn-Arbeitszimmer, hergestellt vom VEB Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau, im Unions-Messehaus.
