For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Oelsnitz, Steinkohlewerk, Bergarbeiter, Förderband Zentralbild Schlegel 18.4.1958 Planvorsprung zu Ehren des V.Parteitages der SED 15 Tage Planvorsprung bis zum V.Parteitag der SED wollen die Kumpel der Jugendbrigade Makarenko im volkseigenen Steinkohlenwerk "Karl Liebknecht" in Oelsnitz erreichen. Die Jugendbrigade, die kürzlich mit dem Titel "Hervorragende Jugendbrigade der DDR" ausgezeichnet worden ist, hat bis jetzt einen Planvorsprung von 5 Tagen erreicht. UBz: Brigadier Horst Preußker, Träger des Ordens "Banner der Arbeit" (rechts), im Gespräch mit Steiger Lemmel über die Arbeit des Panzerförderers.
