For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Ingenieure mit Konstruktionsplan Zentralbild Wittig 25.1.1958 Materialeinsparung im VEB Pressen- und Scherenbau "Henry Pelz",Erfurt. Durch Änderung der Konstruktionsunterlagen spart der VEB Pressen- und Scherenbau "Henry Pelz", Erfurt große Mengen wertvollen Materials ein So werden beispielsweise für die Walzwerktafelschere Typ SV 600 pro Maschine 10 Tonnen und für des Pressentyps DL 160 pro Maschine 100 Tonnen Material eingespart. Damit verwirklichen die Pels-Konstrukteure einen Beschluß des 33.Plenums des ZK der SED.UBz. Der Konstruktionsgruppenleiter, Verdienter Erfinder, Walter Liebold, und der Monstrukteur, Aktivist Willy Schiebold (vorn), beraten Änderungen der Konstruktionsunterlagen für die Walzwerktafelschere Typ SV 600.
