For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Dampflok 23 1012 (BR 23) Zentralbild Schutt Kot-Noa 29.7.1958 Jugenlok "V. Parteitag" an Lokbrigade Tommack übergeben. Im Bahnbetriebswerk Cottbus wurde am 26.7.1958 die Jugendlok "V. Parteitag" an die Brigade Günter Tommack feierlich übergeben. Die Lok ist ein Geschenk der jungen Eisenbahner unserer Republik an den V. Parteitag. Die Eisenbahner vom Bw Cottbus konnten durch Einsparungen und hervorragende Produktionstaten 13.000 DM für den Bau dieser Jugendlok zur Verfügung stellen. UBz: Die Jugendlok "V. Parteitag" unter Dampf.
