For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild ADN-Mellahn-22.3.1960 MS "Völkerfreundschaft" wieder in Rostock. Das FDGB-Urlauberschiff "Völkerfreundschaft" machte am 22.3.1960 nach 27tägiger Ferienreise im Mittel- und Schwarzen Meer wieder im neuen Rostocker Überseehafen fest. Zur Begrüßung des festlich geschmückten Schiffes hatten sich Hunderte Erbauer des Hafens auf dem Kai eingefunden. Über 1.000 Werktätige aus allen Teilen der Republik haben bereits mit der "Völkerfreundschaft" eine 14tägige Ferienreise für einen Kostenaufwand von nur DM 250,-- unternommen. UBz: Das stolze Urlauberschiff wird von Schleppern an den Anlegeplatz bugsiert. |
